Hello, and happy Screenshot Saturday! Man, it's good to be able to say that again.

Thank you all for your patience with me! It has been a difficult few months as I've gone through life circumstances and university... But I'm happy to announce that I've finally finished this semester, so I should be getting back to regular development! This has been the light of the tunnel I've been waiting for as I made my way through finals... Phew! I look forward to getting back to work and sharing it with you!

Secondly, as I made my way through finals, I made... these!

HYADES actually had its third year anniversary fairly recently (November 22nd!), and since the party sprites were actually the first thing I made for the game... They're three years old too! As a small treat for myself then, I remade each of the party sprites according to how I make sprites now... and I really like how they came out!

As a heads up though, these sprites won't be in the game itself. While I'd love to update the graphics with this new style of sprites, it's simply unfeasible to do so for every single character sprite and animation in the game, as well as updating the world graphics to match that new larger sense of scale... So these will simply remain as a treat for you and me - a marker of progress and growth! Maybe one day they could be used for another project... but for now, our current style for HYADES will do just fine!
